I like the temple. I think it needs some work but I like the idea of making my own dungeon and upgrading the rooms.I'm sure ggg will refine it further and the end product will be a lot more compelling.You can tall about downtime, but personally I prefer ssf and temple is really good for that playstyle since you do not have a glut of currency.

finally hit 20k evasion on my queen of the forest evasion stacking witch hunter. without sorc ward I'd actually have 30k, of course 30k evasion is still worthless compared to even half that in energy shield.when I finish maxing the quality on my boots and gloves I should hit ~21k.besides weapon all my gear in total cost less than a divine I'm pretty sure, everybody is running subterfuge mask and hybrid ev/es so pure evasion gear sells super cheap even with double t1/t2 rolls, same with boots without movespeed. It also means you can ignore flat life which makes everything so much cheaper too, my boots are triple evasion prefix and were only a few exalts despite having 40 fire res and some attributes on suffix.I will say that deflection is still a total meme, until it works against non-hit damage it'll always be bad compared to just getting max res, ES, or more life

I will give credit where it's due, being able to have 100% of maps be Irradiated makes getting XP a lot less cancerous than it was before, and doing lvl 81+ maps by stacking irradiated and cleansed/corruption +1 is likewise exponentially easier since you don't need the stars to align for towers AND corruption zones while wasting time pathing through 20 dead maps with neither.That said, if I use an irradiated tablet on every single map I run ever, it's kind of a false choice and should probably just be baked into the system by default. Maybe waystones with 4+ mods on them give monsters +1 level by default, or just raise the level of every single map tier by +1 default and delete the tablets entirely.

I am not fond of the PoE2 gem system. PoE1's skill system is so much more interesting because of the sockes, you have shaped gear, 2 handed corrupts, effects that you could never have in PoE2 because they're constrained by socketed gems, etc. etc. Shako, skin of the lords, squire, kitava's, all that shit is cool and adds flavor. Hell, even shroud is cool in that respect because it forces you to think about where your main skill's going. All that flavor's gone in PoE2 and it's not even more permissive to builds as a trade off. You just get 500 billion stat requirements and 500 gorillion mana cost in place of socket limitations.Also any benefit it gives new players is deleted once they don't get the memo that they're doing 1/2 damage because they didn't socket an iron rune or didn't read the text on BIGFUCKINGHAMMERSMASH that says the boss has to be stunned or it does less damage than punybabyclubswing

I think GGG really needs to take a serious look at stepping back from this tight schedule they've committed to. If an extra month allows them to get the endgame changes that we were due for example, or to really nail the league mechanic, I'd much prefer it.I found myself getting annoyed by the 3.27 breach mechanic and now the current league mechanic before even finishing either campaign. The current cadence, in my opinion, is causing league mechanics to suffer and seems to have caused the endgame/balancing to miss the update again. The league mechanic isn't even a bad idea, it's tuning is just completely off the mark, and it's not user friendly at all.The large majority of players aren't playing from league launch to league end, they are playing closer to launch so shouldn't the league mechanic that we engage with be driving the hype instead of killing it. By the time fixes roll out it is likely too late for a lot of people. If people don't like the flavor of the mechanic then maybe with the time they took back, GGG could have got the endgame changes across the line, or perhaps worked on the skill parity, or perhaps some other forms of balance. What is there to look forward to in this league if you aren't playing the new ascendancy(they cooked with those)?I think they need to cook a bit longer between games personally.

Why is it so hard for GGG to make druid fun?It is not a rocket science.In D2 it is basically you transforming and fighting, or using summons or using nature magic. Nothing complicated but fun.Same shit with the druids in other ARPGs: GD, D4, LE.I feel like GGG has truly smoothbrains working because their iterations of popular archetypes look like significant downgrades in comparison to those from other games.Totally expect Templar to be an absolute fucking parody on a Paladin class with 5 button combos and charge system to do 1% of boss HP.

No, the enemies across the entire game after the first half of Act 1 all are rabies zombies that no matter what think they all have a chance to kill you (which they do).
