The cafe has very solid loot, the office across the street has PCs and cabinets, there's multiple spawns around it, relaxation room is right down the street, there's an extra you need to path past the cafe to get to, etc. It's a great place to loot if you're not scared of pvp, but that whole street is miserable if you're tasking.

We've fallen into the same trap here in the game that a lot of games with SBMM mechanics do—every match has become way too sweaty, stuffy, and tense.The issue is that casuals have all hidden away in PvE mode, but maps need to be filled to the brim before they launch, so every map is just crawling with sweaty gigachads. Because of that, they're constantly fighting each other, and everyone suffers for it.If casuals aren't allowed to hide in PvE, there'd be a max of 1-2 gigachads per map, and the rest would be casuals duking it out among themselves and having a blast with SKS shootouts over a loaf of sausage. That'd be 90% of their playtime.The other 10%, sure, they'd get wrecked by gigachads.But that bit of suffering for them would massively boost the OVERALL happiness level in the game.In other words, they'd just have to suffer a little so that EVERYONE—absolutely EVERYONE—stops suffering.And that's not even mentioning how PvP mode is ALWAYS more fun than PvE. Because PvE Tarkov isn't real Tarkov.
