The more they delay Kai 2 the harder of a sell it will be. Old fans increasingly get fed up with Falcom's shoddy treatment or they just get older and forget the series. Probably only 1% of new fans are seriously going to sit through all 13 of the other games in the next 2 or 3 years. Most of them will lose interest before they get to Kai. So when it finally comes out in 2028... who's going to be left to care? Then how are they going to sell a final arc afterwards when no one is left? Falcom really didn't think this through.

Honestly, the way Kiseki was set up as a whole was a mistake. They never should have gone for the giant interconnected world thing. They should've taken a cue from Atelier and have like 3, maybe 4 games at most all set in separate worlds with the orbment system being the thing that connects the games, like the alchemy/crafting system in Atelier. That would've solved numerous issues people have like character bloat, all the filler, starting points for new players, etc.Now Kiseki is stuck in this hell and it looks like Falcom has no idea what to do with the series anymore.
