I tested some hits on the purple warped ones with my Mc at 725 attack with a spear. All at level 1Ess- 1600Poised strike - 1900Fps - 2400So if you have a level 3 fps it'll still be the best choice for timing a big hit to try and skip low hp mechanics like the wolf

Okay, so, for the wolf, carry 4 scrolls of inferno on your priest and like 2 on your other party members. RNG the first few opening turns (not a problem if you have 2 mages and high ASPD on your whole party, but if you dont, RNG city), nuke the wolves, stabilize so only the big guy is left (highly doable), now you setup, CALDIA Yuzu, MACALDIA Front line, BATILGREF boss (or ideally, Chronostasis). Start chipping away at him and drop AoE's when he summons, at some point he will freeze (Glacial Storm) be sure to always get him out of freeze status, (With Inferno scroll) do not let him spend a turn frozen. In this manner he NEVER used his big nuke until the very end of his HP, where he promptly game ended me, but i missed 2 (TWO) HA3 bursts with my MC, if those hit, maybe i would have gotten lucky.Just some strategy for other SWOs. If you can bother to train up Asha, her LAHALITO helps a lot.I find the 1st part easy since with row skills, you can keep killing his summons and him by himself is easy.It's when he uses linked howl to summon tougher wolves that it becomes hard. If you damage him too much, he does linked howl again and floods the battlefield with wolves and if you damage him even more, he does glacial storm which wipes your entire team. So you need to kill his wolves without hurting him too much. When you are ready, have MC defend and stack defensive buffs so you can survive his glacial storm and then kill him. Any wolves left will get debuffed to help with the mop up.One thing I don't think people have mentioned is that your backline is relatively safe since the only attack he can do to damage them is his ice breath spell. So going 3x mage for MP + LA spells is actually viable.

If you have spare Gerulfs, inheriting his skill to your fighters means they can do decent damage even when he's frozen. Otherwise, just use the inferno scrolls. Don't let him freeze otherwise the damage reduction is too severe and he might cast glacial storm if there's too many wolves with him. Mages should keep batilgref and macaldia (inherit from Daniel) up.After he casts linked howl, you change your tactics to focus on the wolves, he'll cast linked howl again after losing another 1~3k HP. Spam your scrolls, LA~ spells and any AoE you have to take out the wolves, hopefully he doesn't hit the glacial storm threshold.Once most of the wolves are dead, defend spam with MC and knight defense spam with the knight. Everyone else goes ham on him to force glacial storm. If you get lucky with a surety you can skip it, if not defend + knight defense should save your MC then pray you can DPS his last few HP down. All the remaining wolves get debuffed once the big one dies.
