I only got one ctd and it was in the same area where I was getting reminder text in the dialogue boxes. Both of which were after like 10 hours of playing, in the distorted reality section. Other than those, I only got a spattering of T-poses and boxes/terrain remaining after an explosion or collapse of an area which is just a cleaning issue. All in all, mostly bug free. Oh wait, one other bug is that Saro wasn't receiving Willpower bonuses from gear, his armor and accessories had various Willpower bonuses that weren't working under any combination of equipped/unequipped so I assume it's a bug unless I missed some class feature that said you don't get that or something.I also love everything pretty much. The combat is better, the graphics are better, the cutscenes are better, the story has already had multiple branching paths, the investigations are not a gimmick you actually have to continue searching for clues and not at the same time or in one area they cover the entire hours of the game. All in all, this is shaping up to be one of the really good ones.

I played Rogue Trader once years ago a bit after launch and idk how people play it multiple times. The switch to turn based was so fucking bad man, even with momentum and one turn alpha striking enemies, each battle still takes like 5 minutes unless you completely turn off animations, and what's even the point of playing a video game then? I tried a month ago to replay it with the DLC's, got to Act 2, grinded through Footfall tedium, then the moment I tried to leave the system I was hit by a dozen different mandatory DLC quests and events and warp attacks. It just drags so much.

The bigger the amount, the more system breaks on every level. Alpha striking becomes even more important and even more braindead, especially in IGOUGO. Amount of actual real time wasted becomes even greater, for no reason at all, just to try to abstract simple actions which Real Time would simulate far more realistically and faster. As such turn based games need to have small amount of controllable units, small amount of enemies and be on small maps and they will still drag on without simulating anything better than Real Time would.I could shit on turns forever and I wish casual filth would just fuck off already
