I can't scientifically prove it because I'm not injecting inputs every 5ms but I distinctly feel like SF6's weird 3 frames per second input reader is generating a shitload more center overshoot opposite inputs on joysticks. Like Ryu has a combo trial where you do 66 4HP 214MP and on a Hayabusa that shit becomes comical with how many random DPs you get from it coming out as 32146MP from snapback. On a freaking LS-56, a stick that common wisdom and all my experience historically says has no overshoot at all because it's very stiff for a Japanese joystick and centers extremely fast, they actually start happening occasionally in that game. But go into Granblue and do the same input sequence and I can't make that lever overshoot as expected and the Hayabusa does it maybe less often than the Seimitsu does in Dix.Now I can theorize that those are sub-frame overshoots that don't normally get picked up at 60Hz polling but the only thing about that is that it's not like your physical inputs are synced to the frame timing so you'd think they would still show up occasionally, plus ostensibly when SF6 reads 3 different inputs in the same frame it just picks one at random so it still shouldn't be more statistically likely to actually be used? But at the same time it kind of lines up to me with Sanwa doing all their LSX development in SFV where the bigger actuator worked well, then it comes out alongside SF6 and suddenly everybody is getting random jumps and DPs from center overshoot and they have to re-release it with the normal JLF actuator.Game has all these weird little arcade stick hostile things like that and forcing dashes to be 5656 instead of 656 (at least the DRC shortcut got rid of having to do 2MK 5656) and yet even with the jappas all shitboxing they still can't get rid of them in major top 8s.

In tag fighters you can usually pick any character you want but not any team you want. You have to construct a shell around the character you want to play which means picking their best assists. So in Marvel 2 if you want to play Juggernaut you have to build a Juggs shell with Blackheart, BB Hood or Sentinel.
