My biggest problem with Asriel knight, and this would apply to pretty much any lightner knight besides Dess(who I'm gonna assume has been "changed" while in the bunker) is the Knight's weird shape, no other lightner has been able to change their shape in the dark world as much as the knight has. Darkners have been shown to be able to change their shape, atleast some of them, Ralsei loses his normal form and turns into a pile of fluff when beaten up for example, but no lighter has shown an ability similar to that. Why would the Knight, if it was a normal lightner, be able to transform into a ball, and then into a weird skeleton thing, which also changes shape sometimes, like when it roars?

The problem with Asriel Knight is that it's really boring thematically because it would be a total retread of Undertale but with Dess instead of Chara. Then things just slowly escalate. I'm pretty sure the intent here is to show Kris being gradually conditioned into being desensitized to such things. He does try to resist at points, but the process is inescapable and works like water chipping away at a stone, so little by little he gives in.Kind of reminds me of how in a lot of games advertised as "you can play as a villain" you usually end up being a very over-the-top bad guy who acts like a complete prick. People just respond better to this kind of stuff, since the character is advertising his villainy. Meanwhile, in reality being a dick doesn't necessarily equal being bad and being nice doesn't equal being good.
