I run into a blatant "hitchhiker" as Riot likes to call it at least once every other play session. I'd say once every 5 or so games on average.
You can report them all you want but if they don't chat they will not see any action.
Riot will just say "Oh they're playing with a friend who is a legit new player" even if the "legit new player" is hard stomping every game on a different champ every game too.

Not ONCE even have I seen someone get punished for it.
The only thing I see people get punished for is afk/disconnecting and chat. That's it.

I KNOW Riot doesn't care about "shared accounts" because I've bought some and they all have a very obvious pattern of
Stopped playing for 30 or so days immediately after hitting level 30, then showed up at a completely different area in the country and name changed. Never had anything happen.
And if they REALLY cared about "hitchhiking" they could prevent 100% of it by removing duo queue and telling the "I wanna play with friends" Kazooie cosplayers to go play flex.

And I'll tell you more: it's not the first Sylas support I see these few days and neither overall. I've seen maybe one player being good at it, other Sylas support just griefed the lane. The only times a Sylas support could be good is when you can steal a useful ult, like the ones from Soraka, Taric, Swain for example.

Just had a 40 minute Aram game.
Everyone was doing thousands of damage with every ability and everyones damage done was in hundreds of thousands.
Was pretty intresting to see what a long game would look like if people could still keep buying stats past 6 items and werent just full build and thats it.

Look, we've all had games with people crashing out and running it down lane to multiple deaths. Those matches annoy me, but there's logic to what is happening.

What I'm fascinated by are individuals who do this *for no reason.* There's no actual trigger that sets people off on this path and the matches are a middle enough rank that it's not a bot doing such a thing. Just a dude aiming to spend as much time with his screen in grayscale as possible for 35 minutes.

Came out of a match with a Gold 1 Qiyana who went 2/18/3 with 110 CS. They didn't say a word but would moderately group at times (so we knew it wasn't a bot). However, the player *loved* to run face-first into their Mel, only to die to the same thing every time. This one player successfully fed three lanes and the enemy jungler all by themself.

These are the people I would love to see some sort of study on if only to know how their brain worked. If the guy said, 'Hey, look, I'm having a rough Christmas and playing terrible' then I wouldn't even blame or report them, but instead we got the Batman of inting: mysteriously showed up, said nothing, died 18 times and then leaves the moment the match ends.

I think support trinket should go back to having stuff like Relic Shield and Spellthief's Edge, making enchanters auto attack minions ruins the lane freezes or makes adc miss minions time to time on top of giving supports bad incentive to wipe cs time to time, having a tank item do that is better since it makes sense for champs like pyke or naut to get bonus health off the trinket and also wipes the minions to give them room to land a quick hook without getting minion blocked. Enchanters should also be encouraged to try and trade damage instead of backseat gaming and cs farming which the old spellthiefs helped encourage since it'd grant wards once they've traded enough during the laning phase. The atlas is a good thing since it makes everything linear but perhaps let the supports select what they'd like it to auto upgrade as in the future and gain the proper stats off it (+health/+ap/+ad/+cd instead of health only) to stack based on the respective stat rather than just being aaing minions only.

Support is the least mained role, for good reasons.
Caps anon is right too, and Support players in general need to play Jungle and ADC to learn how to play Support better, since the role doesn't teach you anything other than how hard you should be pressing your buttons. Riot really needs to find a way to force Support mains to play ADC a couple times a month.
Bot would be more popular once players realise you can lock in any champion, and stomp lane with it.

Earlier this year Phreak said that Bruisers or Top laners were a lot stronger than ADCs in bot lane, but of course, ADC players only want to play ADC.
I've personally gotten whooped a few times by off meta picks, because it's not a champion you generally see in bot lane, like Fiora, Vlad, Tryndamere, and the occasional Kat off the top of my head. I had a game with a Trundle as Senna and that was just a disgusting lane all together, I think against Aphelios and Alistar.
I think it's more that we don't know how to lane against, or play with off meta picks, so it's always a surprise.
