I don't see why LCE being the place where the canto takes place in initially is that weird. Reminder that in order to get to LCE we had to use a teleport vehicle to it, and the location was hidden.So either the house of spiders found out the physical location and dug towards it if we assume it's underground like LC HQ, or they had some way to teleport inside from their end too, so we could end up going to the actual location of the house of spiders by finding the place where they're attacking from.

This mode is the braindead one where the "Winrate" button selects what you would've picked yourself 99% of the time and enemies are mooks and come and die in droves. Second type are focused encounters where you manually pick attacks which gives you the opportunity to use your brain. At max level with the best units you could probably get away with winrating here as well but a new player without infinite resources will have to pay more attention to make it through.
