Fuyuki feels very disconnected from the rest of the finale. We have Kotomine who wants to witness the birth of something like Manjew, but Maris is nothing like it. It's a being that already has a defined personality born of a misunderstanding of an evil autistic man,Kotomine mentions the whole Priestess thing for Olga, but the Priestess was never a Priestess, just a telescope that broke.The importance of it being the start has no bearing on anything that happens. The flashbacks are far too few. We never even see why its burning, how Saber became Altered. We just leave and don't even see it fade away.Maybe the epilogue will show it still burning or something.

One of the ideas I've been seeing floating around is that the continuation of FGO will be taking Maris' offer and having the adventure continue.
