It's not a definitive ending, but it's more or less telling you that deleting your save to help the Pods save the three protagonists has given them a chance to change their fates, they're not locked into repeating their failures and your actions DID have a tangible effect even after the deletion because they now have a future. It's not like FGO where you more or less just made the journey non-existent.
