Warriors, bears and (shadow) priests are the only true hybrids in raid environments. Bears and warriors can go from strong dps into solid tanks just by shapeshifting / changing stance and shadow priests provide good healing just from doing their dps rotation. These classes do this in their dps spec as needed mid combat encounter.

Were Paladins always played by faggots? I remember in 2005 most of the forum whingers were Paladins. Many wanted to do quite literally what Warriors could do but with the safety net of bubbles/heals/plate and so on and thought it was unfair that they couldn't. Others just wanted plate gear instead of dresses. In game I think I remember them being pretty insufferable. Total main character syndrome. Some were cool and I always thought the Paladin mains who knew how to get the most out of their support kit were linchpins in pvp, seriously it was hard to win without them. It's all or nothing, so if you arent confident in yourself then play something else, otherwise its going to be absolutely miserable, unless you join a guild that tolerates and feeds loot to absolute deadweights, like Evil with their deadweight GM, but in that case you arent exactly "pumping deeps".An absolute braindead class that does a lot of damage is rogue, but its way too late now as we are a few weeks away from rogues receiving their massive nerfs, I recommend arcane mage for doing a lot of dps with minimal effort, feral/enhance/warrior if you want to use a bit more brainpower, feral as a safe bet as it is the dev's current favorite.

There's far, far too many people playing the class and it ultimately isn't all that great. If you want to go Holy you'll be like a unicorn and FAR more in demand. It's actually easier, believe it or not, to gear up your offspecs as a Holy Paladin than it is trying to get into raids as prot or ret.Druids are also slept on and really shouldn't be given how fucking blatant the dev favoritism is.
