PVP existing isn't a problem in and of itself. The problem is that there's objectively no "reason" to PVP aside from wanting to be a cunt. The gunplay is average at best, gear is hilariously poorly balanced, and the economy is functionally nonexistant due to there being no progression curve because gear balance is proper fucked. Some sort of faction system, like another raider city (and associates colors/callouts), with their inhabitants competing for limited topside resources, could provide an actual incentive, make it lore friendly, and also provide a visual indicator of affiliation, easing those who lean more toward PVE into accepting that risk since it's clearly signaled.

Something like 2-3 people got wasted and I only managed to reposition thanks to the cloak covering my ass. Thankfully I had some trailblazers to nuke the bastion and then was able to defib the downed guys.

The weakpoints take full damage from light ammo so heavy ammo weapons are only used to strip the armor and then you swap to something else that has a better bullet damage economy. A kettle does 4 less damage than a Bettina but a stack of light ammo goes to 100 and a stack of heavy is less than half that. If I have a hullcracker blueprint and just always have hullcracker ammo there's literally no point in heavy ammo weapons anymore. Unless there's a hidden damage reduction on weak points I'm missing.
