If you're an aimlet, C&D for Support or Wanda/Moon Knight for DPS can get you value - Rocket is also a good pick. Stick to a role, get good at it. Support is likely the best way to get value as you can focus Support characters without feeling too much pressure to swap to fit a team comp due to triple support being a viable comp, and people aren't going to tell a primary healer to swap to DPS or Tank more likely than not. Other anons might disagree with the options, that's just my personal opinion to just try and power to Gold III. I'd personally say Rocket is the best to get value from because even if you're an aimlet, you can still get healing from missed direct shots at your teammates on top of the rez. If your aim is seriously THAT bad, C&D.

Overwatch didn't have this problem as severe as it was an original cast of characters, so more people built their favorites based on playstyle, lore, and aesthetic from a fresh start and could have been influenced by meta variety. Rivals, however, more people are going to play the characters they love since they're playing their favorite Marvel characters in a video game. Ultron is my favorite character and so I main him, even when he was entirely dogshit I would push to make him work despite me likely getting more value out of a meta healer I don't particularly care that much for character wise. Better players will put this to the side and play heroes with more value, but majority of people who play will likely one or two trick their favorite characters.

What's fun about getting lords is that it encourages me to learn new characters. Might be new balancing different from past seasons, but Thor and Loki have really clicked with me now. Venom's primary is still wonky. Any tips for him?
