There's a huge difference between wanting to play a roguelike for the fun of it and utilizing all the knowledge and RNG to do the best trying to overcome a difficult situation or challenge, especially on higher difficulties. But when the objective isn't to enjoy the roguelike mode but instead to obtain a specific thing that's influenced by 20 layers of time wasting RNG, most people are quickly going to get burned out and quit playing. A new save data mode should exist where you get to pick the exact epiphanies you want for your base build. This allows players to immediately obtain whatever meta base build without any divines. The tryhards can still grind it for the perfect gear and divine bonuses which would be RNG and only necessary for the most competitive of decks.

The problem with the RNG in this game is you could go 12 hours without anything to show for it.In any game with a grind you're making at least SOME progress toward the destination no matter what, or if grinding for a low percentage chance drop, you will get other materials or currency so when it finally happens you've farmed a lot of other shit.But Chaos? you get nothing, resetting on a bad epiphany gives nothing, finishing a run with bad epiphany gives what, 500 units for scrapping the save data? The rewards are limited to 4 times a week.A good rougelite would at least give incentive to finish the run rather than reset like a fucking autist the second something goes wrong.You could play this game for 12 hours a day for a week and not get a single usable deck. Chaos only gives rewards FOUR times per week, and lab0 twice per week. After that you're basically grinding for multiple RNG stars to align for next to nothing in return other than the possibility of a good deck that's usable in the leaderboard, despite it being useless next season.The blackhorn trade currency? Limited and you get what, 2 blue potential crystals for one full chaos run? Pathetic.They need to give incentive to finish chaos, in fact if we get selectable dupes and epi rerolls but the tradeoff is you cannot quit chaos mid run to reset, but finishing said chaos gives memory frags, units, and memory frag upgrade mats every time, people would have more incentive to play.At the moment it's the most asian grind imaginable for next to no reward other than a shiny badge. it's like playing the lottery and if you win, you get a badge that is irrelevant sub 3 weeks later when the new badge is out.

For Source of Water, the best epi is probably the retain one. For Divines obviously AP or Draw are both godlike, I'd say maybe the AP one is better so you can spam all your heals in one turn and also have mana for Tressa's 2 cost.For general usage for other characters it's the same minus the "many heals as possible", ideally you want a thinner deck with Rallys and the 2 draw that uses itself. Negotation is also not bad
