She starts out as this overworked, stressed researcher that doesn't show much care for her creations initially or at least she easily snapped at them. But when she sees Cinderella being overtaken by the corruption and attacking the others it triggers a change in her, like she only realized the worth of her creations after losing them and then puts her mind to doing everything she can to save and allow the squad but also Cinderella specifically to have their happy ending. But this also causes her to become somewhat obsessed with Cinderella I think and that's why Grave's dedication held strong over so many years and why she was so hostile towards us on our early encounters in the main story.It is probably true that she has less care for the other members of Old Tales still, but current day Grave doesn't really have all her memories intact I think because of how she got messed up during the experimentations.
