Fuck it, for everything else the show disappoints me with I fucking adore the end credits zoom out vignettes. Those crucified troopers with signs saying “DEMOCRACY FAILED” “CAESAR SAYS HI” is a nice touch. Also a fun shout back to an extremely autistic time in the fandom right after Fallout 3 came out. Back when the nu-fandom still overwhelmingly had faith in Bethesda every comment section and community had hundreds of autistic sequel fanfics they’d write everywhere public imagining the intro to their imagined fallout sequel with a slow zoom-out over a ruin with 50’s music. I like that every episode has one of those. I don’t know. That does make me fondly nostalgic but not in a cheap memberberries way. It’s the one little touch I can actually like. One of my major issues with Fallout 4 was the rural wasteland felt too small compared to how vast it felt in Fallout 3 and even FNV. I wanted a balance between it and the cityscape. But most of it is kind of wasted as a tutorial area and in settlement building zones.

If you want a proper full overhaul then install NVAO (guns, melee and throwverhaul).
