thinking about it, this part 2 is underwhelming compared to the other cantos because most of them ended on a big cliffhanger moment. heathcliff distorted (ignoring how badly that was resolved), don had the windmill reveal, yi sang and hong lu had cool boss fights. i don't remember what ishmael had.ryoshu has the pinky nursefather as a fight, who has cool animations but i found her underwhelming especially compared to the presentation of the index apprentice. the big reveal is that the child is in danger, which we knew already going into this canto
