They even removed Libby Prestige, which would’ve almost certainly been this month’s top earner. Why make all these changes just for a Steam release, especially when they’d already beaten their previous numbers without it? If the problem is China, just create a Chinese fork like every other gacha, or put out a separate Steam version with no interactions or cutscenes, just the core gameplay, while keeping the main version uncensored. Worst case, let the community fix it with an “unofficial” patch, like Snowbreak. The more I think about it, the worse it all seems.

Haven't really read all the copium, just wanted to say that once you pull content that your players already had (and some paid for), you are kinda cooked. You'll never have their trust or money again. I don't get why they don't just leave it grandfathered in for everyone who had the old content. This is how a lot of games do it (even mass appeal slop like genshin with their outfit alterations) and it makes more sense than a straight rugpull because it lets you make changes to satisfy the CCP without having to shit on the good will of the people who got you where you are. But desu for a game like BD2 where the fanbase is 99% coomers, they may just be fucked anyway.
