The problem with the term control mage is that its not a useful classification.Lux, Xerath and Hwei have very similar gameplay and like to build the same items so we call them artillery mages, which is a useful classification. Hwei, Taliyah and Cass all play nothing alike each other and build completely different things, so what use is there in calling them all "control mages"? Something like "tank" is a useful but broad classification in the same way that "mage" is. It immediately tells you the type of item a champ will build and broad gameplay patterns.

Casual matchmaking works the same in 2xko funny enough, there are lobbies I've been in where unranked players can play against the one masters guy in the lobby, and you can queue into random gm players while you're searching games in ranked too as plat/diamond sometimesPretty sure there's no strict mmr placing in lol casuals and they just toss 5 people in a team with sort of the same average mmr on both teams

Same thing happens when you do it at 2 stacks. However at 1 stack it supposedly does the bonus damage twice even though you have only 1 stack to use.I have not checked if that's indeed the case but if you're already messing with dusk and dawn on shen you should definitely test this. The problem is you need to wait a bit and use another ability for the sheen proc so this would be difficult to make use of anywhere outside clearing the jungle and doing objectives.
