In Wrath you get genuine deity level powers within the first chapter. Kingmaker is the only game they've done where you actually start at the bottom and have to work your way up.

I prefer the "dialogue only" style of writing, where they don't add in prose descriptions of how the characters are saying their lines. It leaves room for imagination and also forces the writer to be more evocative with what their characters are saying. Alright I started playing Divinity Original Sin 2 DE, I was playing it non stop for the last week. I was playing it on explorer (as it was my first run). Every single encounter felt satisfying as I destroyed the enemies with strategy, the combat was itself rewarding and flow inducing. I love it when I don't have to look up guides and builds every single time I level up in a CRPG however... it all went down the shithole the moment I reached Arx. Now every single encounter feels like playing on the hardest difficulty. The voidwoken bridge encounter that makes you face the bloodfury monster literally made me use 10 resurrection scrolls, smoke bombs and crowd control cheeses. It also didn't help that I refused to improve my source abilities (I was going for a good-guy path that refuses to absorb other souls), so I am stuck with 1 source point abilities (which don't do jack except Skin graft). The game just ruined itself with this act and such tremendous gap in difficulty. I don't even know how to respecc as the ship is destroyed. I don't even want to play it anymore and quit at the Lucian cathedral entry. Fuck this shit man.

I loved Disco Elysium, BG3, and D:OSII and am looking for another crpg. I've been eyeing Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and PoE II: Deadfire. >>553640317As far as "like bg3" that depends on what you mean, but you're probably aware that nothing else hits its production values, so you won't find it if that's what you want, though you've played DE and DOS2 so that's probably okay for you.I wouldn't jump to Deadfire personally. Some people here have a hate boner for Pillars for some reason but I recently replayed Pillars 1 and felt it held up really well. There are a couple things to keep in mind going in if you go that route.As far as PF, if you're positive that you like the genre, I would actually suggest starting with Kingmaker, as WotR introduces some really nice quality of life that can make it feel extremely clunky to then play KM. If you like story driven and don't need tons of flash, I very much enjoyed Shadowrun: Hong Kong. I've heard it's roughly on par with Dragonfall but that Returns is mid, though I haven't played either.You might also consider Wasteland 3. A bit on the short side at least compared to an epic like WotR, but very solid and enjoyable crpg. Good story and characters, enjoyable combat. You have to be okay with Fallout-tier mix of goofy/serious though.

This turret fired despite having a melee armed opponent threatening it in an adjacent square.This encounter also just sucks if a few of the turrets go first and down one or more people, because then you don't have enough people to threaten each one. And of course the ability check difficulty increases for unfair difficulty make it so you don't see the two free ones at the start.This is another of the encounters that can get pretty dicey, and it's strange that it's in like the third or so system you explore.

You'd have to be playing a character that is wholly convinced of their own superiority. I also think that taking the "I can fix her" dialogue option at the very end is bitch behavior>CamelliaActual psychopath behavior. Very hot if you like raunchy sex and breaking taboos. An anon ages ago put forth an actual argument for her being the perfect genuine romance option for a Lich character (both of you love and understand each other completely as pure evil monsters that love killing people, so your final act of love towards her is to murder her for your own ambitions and savor the experience)
