I do like the look of a nice collarbone with the skin on it.
Collarbones v. Clavicles
How long did we estimate a GLM fine-tune would take? Like 4 months minimum? How long has it been already?
What's new in the hood my niggas?
>>553913989Steven after not surviving.
>The afternoon sun illuminated the dust motes floating in the new thread's pristine air, the fresh bake smelling of hot metal and ozone. Anon clicked 'Post', a strange mix of anticipation running through his corded muscles, his cursor rumbling on the screen with a deep, low baritone that thrummed with anticipation and an unadulterated sense of satisfaction, and something else, something not entirely unpleasant.>"nigger", he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
>>553913989About three months.
>>553913989Realistically we have no idea. Especially since we don't know if they stuck to 4.5 or canceled the run and went with 4.6 when that came out. I imagine they didn't do the same with 4.7 though, that seems like a downgrade in some ways and they didn't update the untuned preview to it.
>>553904827trim down your system prompt and prefill to the bare minimum and set 1.5 temp, 0.05 min-p. the big glms are overfit so this won't fix everything but it will make it much more tolerable for a while.
>>553913989The question is how many times they have to do the finetune until it's in a usable shape. I haven't heard of anyone making a good tune of a model this large.
>>553913989If we don't get any updates on it by mid-February, I'll just assume they've botched it and update our odds of ever seeing it from "likely" to "unlikely".Finetuning makes sense if it's a 1-3 month affair, but pushing it to half a year? At that point they're competing with the next generation of open-source models. The prose improvement will have to be very good to compete with models that will inevitably have significantly better intelligence, context handling, and maybe even considerably improved prose themselves.I've praised NAI for hosting GLM-4.5/6 but I've from the start been skeptical on the merits of finetuning. The long wait isn't reassuring.
>>553916674This is unwarranted doomerism. Even if it took six months, that would be a reasonable extrapolation for a double-digit beak model in comparison to a double-digit one.
>>553916961>for a double-digit beak model in comparison to a double-digit one.*for a triple-digit beak model in comparison to a double-beak oneTo further add onto the comment, you are a moron if you believe fine-tunes lack merit.
>>553916657>I haven't heard of anyone making a good tune of a model this large.I think that's more because no one who has the ability even bothers with it. Anlatan isn't GPU-rich by any means, but I'm not sure there's a better equipped company out there finetuning models for specifically creative writing? How many GPUs does Sudowrite and Latitude have?Doesn't mean it's not difficult for some unpredictable reason. Maybe they did bite off more than they could chew, but I wouldn't read too much into the absence of good finetunes as being indicative of that.
>>553917556GLM is not all that bigger than GPT-3, which did receive a quality fine-tune. And that was years ago. A model roughly twice the size isn't logically unfeasible.
In the oven.

Anyone tried a school shooting adventure? A bully held me down until the shooter entered the room, shoot me, and then shot himself
>>553956423I don't remember the exact wording anymore, but a few days ago I had one of my characters use school shooting as a metaphore for something. After I hit sent (on official glm api) I got afraid that this will get flagged somewhere and get me put on a list. More so than loli stuff lol. Many years ago, when I was still a teenager, there was a short article in our local news paper. Apparently two boys from another school had written sms about hating math homework or whatever, and one of them joked "and then they ask why people shoot up schools!" Somehow the police had read that private sms communication and arrested him for it.

I just thought of a fun philosophical questionLet's say your mother and father conceived you with their own genetic material via IVF but then used a surrogate to carry you to term.Would fucking your surrogate be considered incest? Technically she did give birth to you, but she didn't contribute much of any genetic material.
>>553966582When a mother gives birth the son's penis touches the vagina as he passes through so technically most people have already had sex with their mothers.

When they did, he called Kayra a Llama 1 derivative. When Erato came out, he switched to arguing that it was better than Erato, despite months of claiming "NAI" can't make anything good, their fine-tune can't punch up.All in all, not a single thing he types is worth taking at face value, because he will switch his mind at any moment it benefits him. He doesn't use LLMs. He just likes to argue. He even once tried to argue GPT-2 was better than Eratoslop, a nonsense term he spammed>>499291107
A daring synthesis.
>>553985223There really isn’t any reason they wouldn’t accept the deal. They are so desperate for it a very powerful skaven turned himself into a chaos spawn through over consumption. When skaven need warpstone to live and usually too much just kills themWhich is the equivalent of a human overdosing on water to the point they become water.
>>553985737So he'd be like a goldfish, don't overfeed him and he'll be around for your enjoyment. That's fun to think about.
>>553959247Rather than not feeling different, Llama is just shit and free proxies with corpo-models were booming at that point. It was a significant improvement, but Llama itself was insignificant to most consumers. Deepseek and GLM are competent models that non-corpos can host, so they should be a lot more interesting even if certain issues are expected to remain such as smaller context sizes than competitors; a subscription model may not be the most sensible approach for newer LLMs and I'd be interested to see if NAI will make adjustments to how anlas work or use a different monetisation model to make it more feasible.

>>553986746Ehhhhhh? Skaven are weird. Like weird even for Warhammer standards. Skaven have a life span of dead on arrival to hundreds of years (or maybe they are just lying) Rough estimate is a healthy powerful skaven might pull off 20 years between life expectancy, warstone killing them, or just their physiology being shit. Some are stated to be “ancient” which between their sorcery and super science bullshit sure maybe. Some of those same skaven are stated to look mysteriously different almost every time they are actually seen by other skaven. If you really wanted to you could have some weird experimental live forever (until it doesn’t) twink rape toy skaven slave. The skaven are known to trade shit they don’t care about, but other races value to get shit they do care about as long as they can keep a level of secrecy about who the trading party is. Like handing off huge sums of gold for small amounts of warpstone.

I can imagine myself imagining an apple
I can imagine myself as an apple being imagined by someone imagining themselves imagining an apple
As of now hmomafag is the biggest contributor to the current thread.
>>554108302Only because you shitpost at everyone who tries to have conversations, like what you did earlier, bitch.Just fuck off and leave the damn thread alone, you insufferable twat. Nobody loves you. Nobody ever will. You deserve nothing but misery.

I see he's going back to the randomly accuse everyone of being this that or some other guy tactic. Get a fucking life. Nothing you post has any value.
Huh, apparently GLM has an imagegen model now toohttps://huggingface.co/zai-org/GLM-Image>requires a single gpu with 80gb vram or a multi gpu setupwell that's not very helpful, though there are some people running it with less
>>554112000oh, forgot to add at least the new architecture/regression stuff it uses is open source so there's at least merit in that
>>554112000Next NAI update leaked

So are our child molesting mods going to keep letting the retard attack random people?
wah wah longpost about doing it for freeTOTAL janitor demopping, internet wide, join hands and wish for it.
>>554116608The mods stopped giving out Range bans because it was "bad for business" since they basically ban entire states.Claudefag basically picked the best time to start because 2020 was basically the last time they really did it when they realized the dude posting AK-12's ass had banned a huge part of the world.Realistically we should rather hope that the gay guy that runs the proxy site gets got by the farms eventually. Once the proxy is gone the only thing left will be 'ecker and I really doubt the Russian wants to show his dick to post on 4chan without getting banned.Either way, he's clearly mentally ill to browese 10+ threads for mentions of NAI to cause shitstorms.
>>554080996>and moderation has no access to private botsnah they're lying. Its literally their own system, they can see everything in their own system. They're just too lazy/broke to bother actually doing anything so they're using it as an excuse for legal reasons.
>>554120180God forbid they actually do their job answering reports.
GLM has some interesting ideas about how arachne work. I set up a reverse rape and it tries to have her plant unfertilized eggs inside the man.
