It is stuffed with dash pads and downward slopes that hand you velocity like candy. The platforming is simple. You are not rewarded for skill.Sonic 1 requires mastery. You earn your speed through physics. Sally Acorn would respect this. She is a strategic leader who values challenge. But Sonic 2 fans praise their game while attacking boost titles for the same design philosophy. This is hypocrisy. My grandfather did not tolerate hypocrisy when he fought the Soviets in the Wehrmacht. Neither do I.If you love Sonic 2 but hate Unleashed or Colors; you are not a logical person. If Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 were merged into one story, and various plot threads were just merged together, then the result is basically 06. Shadow is Mephiles, Chaos is Iblis. Just as Mephiles' goal is to unleash Iblis, Shadow's goal would be to fuel Chaos. This means that Sonic & Tails rescuing Amy on the Egg Carrier and the ARK aligns with each other. Which means... if you apply the SA2 cutscene context with the context of SA1... 6 Chaos Emeralds within Chaos, Tails has the real 7th Chaos Emerald, Sonic with the fake is sent to his death... Tails ends up fighting Chaos 6.
