The only way to make stealth "work" is to remove the enemy ability to call in reinforcements. Would you be okay with this change? It would make the game much easier but it would allow you to role play as solid snake in return.

Only thing that changes in meta perspective is what planets are open. For instance erata prime is the best sc farming planet right but It hasn't been open for months. There is another try planet with tremors in bug front open that's quite good too. Just run d1. Open all the point of interests and return to ship from menu. Or cheat sc
