It does seem that suppressed weapons alert enemies much less now, as opposed to doing nothing, I'm actually getting some usage out of the shitty Halo warbond with the armour and SMG for the commando missions, even if the SMG's sights are rubbish. Tried pairing it with the directional shield which I've never touched and it was kinda fun, since teammates (that I've had at least) are more likely to stick nearby to make up for the lack of firepower once things get hot. Doesn't do shit against rockets though which me and another dude I was covering found out the hard way.Weird how the devs shipped this mission that heavily encourages stealth and picking fights carefully, yet the few weapons that are suppressed to facilitate that are all locked behind the goybonds. It's weird, did a solo commando d10 and for the most part you can plink away at the small bots without problem, scout striders too, worst case you can queso from far away. But this shit is inconsistent as fuck, usually I can waddle in no problem until one particular strider in a base I haven't been yet decides to skip any "hey what's that" phase and inmediately blast me and aggro everyone.Also give factory striders a wide berth, was proning around to get close to it and it instantly went from I sleep to insta detection, whole base angry, insta reinforcements.
