You probably also have a HUGE amount of score for killing the boss based on the amount of turns you still have left when it dies. So it becomes a balancing act of cheesing the modifiers as much as you can, while killing the boss as quickly as possible. This way, whales and nolifers still get to flex their e6 and their decks on the leaderboard because the biggest point bomb is from killing the boss in fewer turns, but there are modifiers for other things to incentivize certain units or certain playstyles, kinda like the way points were calculated on the first leaderboard that forced everyone to farm chains for TCM. Or maybe the biggest point bomb comes from the modifiers and the points awarded for killing the boss quickly is smaller, whichever one results in there still being competitive variance between players instead of everyone having basically the same score.

I think the Tressa and Casius Nerfs are well deserved, and the only people complaining about them are doing so in bad faith. And you guys know who you are. We all know how absurdly brain dead and dumb the infinite engine is with those 2.Let's not pretend sitting there and dragging infinite daggers onto the enemy is actually "fun". There is nothing strategic about it. It's not even a creative way of generating daggers. You use the upgrade cards that you duplicated, and that's it, that's the whole combo.Effects like those tend to have hard caps because of how unbalanced and broken they get from something that makes them overlooked. In fact these changes are infinitely more healthy for the game because they open the door for more similar types of characters. There is literally 0 point in ever creating a new type of agony based character because of old tressa.These people don't actually care about balance or the overall health of the game, they just want to have brain dead easy ways of beating every aspect of the game with no effort. And we all know it. But since it's a gacha game, I doubt many of those types of players would ever admit it.
