There’s a point where it’s just stupid to smash the same boss’s face in with the giant hammer over fifty fucking times. Also why did they fuck up the arcane stat so badly? My only gripe is that the successful Celestial Emissary was a lot cooler or cosmic looking (their bloated heads are glowing and filled with star stuff) while the Living Failures appear to have cooler or more cosmic powers despite their blobby appearances. It should be the opposite, no? Perhaps the successful ones are more childlike and innocent (I do feel bad killing). They come across like a hive mind. The Living Failures also tap into each other when they perform their cosmic barrage.

I really like the Elden Ring DLC. I didn't expect a full blown map with some nooks and crannies with it. The visuals are really excellent too. Not really fond of the Scadu system but not too bothered by it. Really impressed Rennala's fight because this is where I truly appreciated that the bosses can do mixups and will get you shat on if you're not paying attention. Currently I'm on a crossroads about what Scadu level I should be at. I'm holding off defeating Rennala, in fact I just quit if she's dying. I'm currently at level 5 and is eating like 1 or 3 hits before I croak but I think it's more because I only invested in 40vig which I'm ok with(plus I'm using primal glintstone blade so I can dish out more spells) but I think the anon in the previous thread explained that level 10 is the 100% damage equivalent to enemies and 20 is the highest which is double damage. Is this pretty much the gist of it? I'm thinking level 10 should be a good stopping point if that's the case.

I just lost to base balancers, and I fully blame my teammate. His incessant pinging all expedition made me so mad, that I went into the fight too upset. Couldn't find calmness. Do any of you know that feeling when you get mad, you get that tingling feeling on your upper arms. I had that going into the fight. And I still feel it now. That faggot was just pinging EVERYTHING. I think what broke me, was he pinged did like 10 pings in a row this one time, and I check the map to see what all the hubbub is, and he's just showing a useless piece of junk equipment. Things were going fine, until the dog jumped out of sight down a hill. And that caused my targeting to automatically switch to some nearby grunt. And that just threw off my game and I wasn't able to recover.Also, during the dreglord fight, I still don't know how to evade his big powered up mid fight attack. I had a potion to prevent large damage like that, but in the moment I forgot to drink it.

Preparing to jump it. Well, somehow after his first or second slam(It happened so fast, I don't know if it was first or second), the shock waves lingered on the ground for an unnaturally long time. They looked glitched. I used my ult to hopefully escape the waves and kill him. But after hitting him, he survived, and I landed in the still lingering waves. Only upon falling atop the waves, do they finally finish their explosion animation, killing me. If that doesn't prove the game is blatantly cheating, I don't know what will.
Elden Ring is the best. But it could be even better.
