Hot take: The Great Vault is one of the most harmful systems ever added to the game. Ever since it's introduction alts have become unplayable and anyone joining midway through a season is just as screwed. Too much gear progression is tied to this system and there is NO catchup mechanic for people who have missed any vault weeks. Pvp improved tremendously in TWW simply because of it's gear removal from the vault, making it possible for anyone to play the mode without being permanently behind everyone else.
