Ember really feels surprisingly good to use. Either as Main with Sundering prince and stagger gear, or as full on healer with Thunderberge. Once we get real high damage content she will end up invaluable. Using her is like turning on Easy mode. Its not like she will be trimming any medals tho. Well, I finished 100% - all sidequests, all crates and orb things, maxed outposts of course, etc. I think I'm done with the game now. (This is purely my personal opinion, I'm not trying to convince YOU to stop playing). The thought of logging in every day (or every-other day if I don't care about missing half a roll lmao) just to dump stamina into essences is not very appealing. Of course, that's the natural way of a gacha, but I'm also not sure about 1.1 What is waiting for me there? At absolute best, a new subregion, but I can't say I look forward to the idea of dragging out powerlines and setting up ziplines and shit there. That honestly feels more like actual, genuine WORK to me than anything else I've ever done in a gacha game. Not to mention, getting all chests was genuinely not fun at all; there were not really any clever or cool ones, nor did I feel like I increased my understanding of the region in going for them like I feel with Genshin. I actually ended up liking Wuling City less after scouring its rooftops for so long because it started feeling like a shallower place carried only by its architecture design. Furthermore, I have zero anticipation for upcoming story since there's a huge chance of it being bad. It's almost awe-inspiring that the vast majority of players agree that Valley IV's story sucks ass. I've seen a few cope posts, but even they keep it to just 'it's not THAT boring; it's an introduction to the world! a slow burn before it'll get good later!' rather than total denial and claiming it's good in itself. Laev's story quest was quite solid, but then Yvonne's was bad again (no, a character showing emotion is not a sign of it being good, that too is a baseline we should expect from stories), so I don't have any particular expectation for operator missions being a step above the main plot. There could still be a miracle where both the main story and operator missions abruptly improve, it's just a matter of changing staff around, but eh.
