I've started watching Lycoris Recoil in preparation for the collab, because I heard it was a modern spin on the "girls with guns" genre. I'm only four episodes in, but it feels weirdly disinterested in its own premise and a lot more interested in fluff and SoL. Here is my own opinion on the game's current state as a day 1 player, day 1 /nikg/er, and occasional skin buyer.It's impossible to justify spending in the last few months and going forward with how terrible 2025 in its entirety was. I will say that the start of 2026 was better than last year's start, with Ark Guardian being okay, Sin Editor also being okay, and Fatal Maid being good. Which is a step up; Footstep Walk Run was godawful, Lord for Justice was okay, and Arcane Archive was good. This of course is not indicative of future event/writing quality but it was a better start at the very least.I don't care about collabs. I will skip the event story and get 1 copy of each unit. I'd still rather have those tools in my toolbox.
