Why is Surge green? So you can point and say HEY LOOK I RECOGNIZE THAT REFERENCE FROM THAT THING. She's a tenrec becaus the "Shadow is actually like a tenrec (fake hedgehog)" became a meme in 2018ish and everyone was making their OCs into tenrecs. So she's a social media headcanon meme and a reference to the fact that Sonic games are awful glitchy messes. This isn't getting into the fact that her outfit is trash. As in it looks like a ripped black trashbag. What were they going for making it? It's yellow so it's similar to her vomit colored fur, but you have no calmer colors to offset all of it, so you're left with this garish neon blob. And then all that grey. Why do IDW characters use so much grey? Her muzzle is sickly and weird looking too. Why is it greyish? Why do Americans insist on making such horrid designs like this and why does anyone defend it? Again, is it just because it has eyelashes? I hope Idw is canceled so I never have to look at this thing again. And this is just about her appearance, let's not get into the complete dogshit dumpster fire that is her story and personality.
