Posting again cause it's at the tail-end of the last thread.Me and my homies just finished reading Mahoyo together. Overall a pretty good experience, but I think I liked it a lot more than my friends. They are anime onlies for Fate, so the climax being wholly about true magic didn't really hit them that hard(I was pretty much foaming at the mouth every time they so much as mentioned it, though). They also harped on the character arcs for being unfinished, but we all pretty much agreed on the character writing in itself being top notch. Alice in particular stood out to all of us... Although one of the boys hated Soujuurou for "being completely unrelatable". That same friend rated the game 6/10 in the end. We're thinking about doing Tsukire next, but I'm really worried about putting that guy through another 6/10 experience, only this time it being even longer. Are the games really similar? Do you think there's a chance he'd like Tsukire a lot better than Mahoyo?
