Player angel theory is one of those concepts that feels like it completely misunderstands the entire story to fulfill the pride of the player.You are not Kris and have seen Kris disconnected from us. And aren’t connected to the heart, the angel, until the start of chapter 1 and we constantly keep losing control of it in between chapters. Plus, the one who talks to you to being connected to Deltarune is Gaster, who makes way more sense to have the omnipresence the angel is supposed to have.The first time we see an angel is from Spamton and Spamton is heavily implied to be possessed by Friend. And Friend has this Gaster like nature to him. Friend is also implied to have its true name being Michael. Michael means “who is like God?” And when you put his name down in the minigame room, it resets everything. Everything about player angel is ridiculously lazy and doesn’t properly review the game to write down basic details of the angel reading and listening to prayers. Having high priests like Gerson and Ralsei trying to tell you to do the right thing and guide you away from the weird route. And most importantly, being an ancient entity that always existed within the world of Deltarune and handled it long before we’ve opened the game.
