In POE2 it feels like most of character building is just scaling, and there's way less of the POE1 "combine mechanics in a way that give you endgame damage early" style of building. So my whole idea of applying curses with Battlemage's Cry failed and the build is not doing near the PoB numbers.Then I tried BoC but they really need to buff the AoE on Contagion. well I tried poe2 but it's not for me. the damage spikes are nutty in this game.got killed twice in the trial of chaos by some sethekk looking bird boss that transforms into a tornado.the damage seems extreme. I died to the same mechanic both times, some ground lightning cone that has like maybe 1 second animation time. idk how it does so much damage, I have almost 1.5k ehp between life and es with 50 something lightning resistance.anyway, oh well.
