Once you have a perfect essence you sacrifice useless gold quality essences to your good one to try upgrade the stats on it from +1 to +2 etc.>ArtificingYeah you just craft more of the same item and sacrifice it to try upgrade stats, you're actually bottle necked by the artificing resource you get from stockmen not the resource for crafting gear as you can only buy 60/reset. Although there is 200 that doesn't restock to get you started. There is a very slight optimization for gear stats on accessories only where instead of sacrificing the same one you sacrifice the "Non-set -> Redeemer Gear" items that have a primary stat than the one you're trying to level up
