Riko is particularly good because if you finish her date chain, you get about 150 stamina/150 guts for free, which isn't insignificant at all. Pal cards are less powerful than they were, because Cygames reduced the mood down rates. Now it's not uncommon for umas to get 1-2 mood down per career, whereas prior to the patch it was 4-7 mood downs not being uncommon.Pal cards also reduce the energy spent during training. This is helpful. tl;dr pal cards give bonus stats, mood ups, energy recovery (but only Tazuna's is as much as resting), and training energy cost reduction. Try 10 runs with and 10 runs without to see the effect clearly for yourself.

I ran 3 power cards because some of them have relevant abilities for Groundwork, greens, and pace skills, this turned out fine because she has 8% stamina growth so you still get good bumps on power hits. The Festa was a fun pick for medium abilities and Uma Stan.She lost two races, the Dahbi and the first time I did Queen Elizabeth, but still felt good. White sparks on this Opera are not exciting, but 2*blue and pink with 3* ult has me keep it as a grandparent at least.
