I'm usually fine with Bethesda's changes, accepting them as different rather than better or worse, but I do think they completely fucked Super Mutants by turning them into another generic monster of the wasteland instead of continuing to explore their role in post-apoc society like with ghouls and later synths.

I'm using the Mojave Mo Problems modlist and really enjoy it but some mod in it turns Cass into a Bogdanoff and makes Veronica look like some other NPCs do in this mod, generic pretty girls. What is even the appeal of settlement building? Why am I wasting time building a surface shanty town when I could simply occupy a vacant vault? Thanks to radiation storms, the surface is literally unsafe by default. Unless if you have modded settlement components that allow you to build sealed buildings and tall walls with automated defenses, there is no point investing the time or effort. This also means the soil is tainted, therefore an indoor greenhouse is the only safe way to grow plants. The more I learn about this game the more I come to understand that the Institute was right all along
