I think I found a good infernus build, currently phantom 4/5 and winning about 55% of my matches doing this-rush whatever the 32 charge purple item is -rush T4 flamedashreasoning is, Infernus's attack modifier doesn't do anything until you can shit out bullets, and have spirit damage to take advantage of the shots. It's either upgraded last or second to last imo. With the global fire rate nerfs, global spirit damage nerfs, and rework of how the flame is applied, it's just not doing that much. Flamedash, on the other hand, is amazing for farm, for splitpushing and running away at the same time. You can buy enduring speed, dispel magic, and whatever the movement slow 1.6 purple item is. For only 6.4 gold early game, you can be quite tricky to catch. You can also skip the move slow item for arcane surge, the extra stamina lets you get an extra dash in, then flame dash for longer. The reason this works is no one expects Infernus to build slippery items, and if they are on top of you to make sure you don't split like a filthy rat, your flamedash is great for stealing easy camps on the enemy side of the map.>what about gun items?You can skip some of them, and squeeze by on some budget items. Swift Striker and active reload help you do damage and have some native heal, and fleetfoot works with your flamedash. This lets you hit 4.8 gold, get a good reload to do SOME fire attack modifier help. The -spirit damage on enemies can be helpful to tank when you need to bail. People are always trying to get on top of you as infernus, so your real utility to the team is slowing, DoT from flamedash, and your stun ultThe nice thing is, you can transition to gun carry later if you need to. Your burning bullets are a free gun item that are amplified by the spirit items you've already bought, so you can buy escalating resilience to be tanky in fights. The thing is, your flame dash comes off cooldown if you get the charge items, so you can fight, run away, join the fight again

Unlike Seven who has to pick between damage and continuing his ult, when ~Infernus~ buys unstoppable, it's guaranteed to go off. I've had some games won where I unstoppable ulted Rosh pit, getting 4 heroes, idiot Rem assuming his sleep would work (lol), Lash assuming he would pull me, his team dogpiling the Rejuv thinking lash was keeping them safe. The silence wave is also great, after they get stunned, they're not allowed to cast their other spells (eat shit paradox). Again, what makes the build work is you, the infernus, being an annoying distraction with a decent teamfight ult.
