Focus mode is just an evolution of clutch claw if you think about it. Instead of having a conditional if you meet stagger threshold = monster drools for big opening, they managed to weave it directly in the core of the combat system and massively increased its speed of execution as well as safety as well as giving you the choice of when to use said opening.The moment you hit your magic focus attack button, you're pretty much invincible and get locked in a 5s long animation where the monster keeps staggerring nonstop, just like clutch claw.What I find most fascinating about the system is that despite all of this, the devs decided to also add random bouts of time after long monster combos where BY COMPLETE MAGIC a weak point will spawn on the monster where you can do a focus strike despite having no wound there at all.The encounter designer probably thought they were geniuses at the time throwing bones to the playerbase but alas we all know how the reception went.

Keep demon mode up > Blade dance 1,2,3 (obviously only if I know I can do the full combo and won't get attacked / have the monster walk away during it) > Sixfold > archdemon attacks until stamina is back up to go back into demon mode > Back into demon mode with demon flurry 1,2 blade dance 3? > Back into demon mode by just pressing the button if flurry flurry dance is too sketchy on a fast mover? Couple things I'm not sure about? Do I keep focus mode on the entire time? Do I pop wounds with focus strike? it seems at the very least a good way to stay in demon mode as you seem to regain stamina and come back down in demon mode. In Wilds with my build right now which has a few offenssive skills and a Gogmazios gs wwith 1084 attack, I get around 480-600 with a TCS depending on the monster and where I hit.In World rn, with a low rank great girros GS (480 attack), I get fucking 600-800 on a TCS depending on the monster and where I hit, and I have 0 damage skills in my set.This is absurd considering the gs I use in Wilds is a max upgrade endgame high rank one, and the one I use in World is a low rank GS.

I really wouldn't expect much world or wilds content in a potential GU2 compilation game. Yes all the 4U maps were in GU but that was when mainline and portable hadn't split so far apart. Now that tokuda has taken mainline to another dimension with map size and detail I just really doubt they'd even bother porting any world maps into P6. There's a chance they could remake those maps but I don't think they'd even want to because people would complain. It just makes more sense for them to keep remaking old maps and introducing a few new maps. I'm sure a decent amount of world monsters will make it in though.
