How do I close out games? My macro is good enough until late game, and I find that most of my matches we clear all their walkers with a soul lead, but after that point I flounder since I have difficulty pushing into their base as it feels like map traversal is a lot faster than league. Usually I find it pretty easy to steal an inhibitor while the enemy team is on the other side of the map, but shrines have a decent chunk of health and are much more interior to the base. I am in low elo Archon.

If the game goes late and the souls are mostly even it's pretty much a coinflip on which team wins the brainless ARAM brawls.You can't really backdoor their base unless they're colossally dumb and your team is managing to fight 5v6, the best you can do is play lane janny to keep the creeps pushed past the midway point.Also try herding your teammates to do midboss. Ideally you should take it before you get all their walkers and then use it to push the walkers. In the lategame you obviously just use it to push their base. This is really important for closing out games, but it's also something that requires basic team coordination.Besides that there's not much you can do except ensure your team (and you in particular) has a good lead before the game goes late. If you're up 40k souls it doesn't matter that your teammates are just brawling in mid. Like any other MOBA, the early and midgame are when you as an individual player have the most agency. There's many aspects to this but all of them boil down to controlling the resources on the map.
