They kind of fumbled the theme. This was supposed to be some sort of post apocalyptic setting where Deathwing wins but the cards don't really reflect it. Where's all the cultist and faceless/old god stuff, the destroyed cities and dead heroes? Also literally only Rag, Cho and Magmaw look 'empowered' in what is supposed to be a different timeline the rest of the colossi look literally the exact same as normal.

I don't know what to think, was very excited at the beginning when they announced it but they did not really seem to take many chances with the colossus/herald stuff and most of the cards look very standard.

I've been trying to theorycraft some sort of combo/burn deck with this card as well as a combo Priest deck with the new location and I don't think it's possible. There aren't enough ways to generate mana or reduce mana costs in standard right now to enable a big tempo swing turn, which is typically what combo decks like this rely on.
Think of decks like Naga Demon Hunter, Mozaki Mage, or Naga Priest. All of those decks had some means of generating coins, refreshing mana, or reducing the cost of their already cheap cards to accelerate their combo. They just aren't making cards like that anymore because reddit complained about it too much.
Also the sheer amount of board vomit slop they're pushing this expansion makes it seem unlikely combo would be able to survive even if Mage or Priest did have a card like pic related. Hunter's just going to smash your face in with its Dragon package.
