How is this game supposed to last longer than one month when over half the content is inaccessible to 99% of the player base? I mean being able to get to Marathon and play on the map if you do get in, forget it. Having to get 2 other guys to do the little bosses in Marathon and get in Marathon forget it. So solo players are fucked, trying to trio with randos are obviously fucked. You need 3 friends who want to play Marathon and are good at the game, for a CHANCE to play on the other maps and get the loot.

and in Tarkov you die in 1 bullet to the face. or in like 4 to the body if you have good ammo, and thats from 800RPM guns.
this game doesnt even have 800 rpm guns. and all guns in tarkov are ballistic, so fast projectiles and not slow energy blobs.

what you also need to understand is the gear progression like in Tarkov. as you keep playing you eventually unlock purple shields from the store which give you additional 80 hp, greatly increasing the TTK.

a few weeks into a wipe everyone will be running at least blue shields and a bunch of mods that increase survivability.

again, the TTK in this game is not slow unless you only play MMOs or Destiny.

The new player experience has been notoriously god awful for years now and the story makes no sense, because it's full of characters you'll never be introduced to, fighting enemies you don't know from plotlines that don't exist anymore. (Not even the one that comes with the game disc).
The only relevant expansion and content is the newest one if you just want shooting experience stuff, I'm not sure what the state of meta weapons is anymore but you might need to raid for most of the good ones (that means buying more expansions)

I just need to relieve some mild frustrations about the game.
I only ever play PvE games most of the time but I'm having fun with this game, a lot of fun but I'm also really, really, really bad at PvP.
Ok so what? 90% of my runs end before the two minute mark

We last anywhere between 40secs to 1min and 50secs on the dot. Rarely do I even make to the ten minute mark let alone extract.

I've been playing since the demo released and I'm just now halfway through Level 27
I don't even have anything in my inventory anymore and use the grey kit and trying to play Rook I just die instantly

People tore that a new asshole because it was too dumbed down compared to D1, and it wasn't until Forsaken that they started to turn it around. But they began to lean too hard into drip-fed content and appealing to the streamerfags with "hard" or "watchable content" in later expansions that it just put off most normal players that just buy the game to play for fun, especially those that have to run the content by themselves. The irony too was that plenty of the streamers advocating for "harder content" aren't even that good at the game, they always get their shit pushed in whenever there's a World's First raid contest.
That led us all the way here where it is a game targeted for the sweats first and foremost. Of course casual players are going to turn away from it with that awful UI, dogshit community of KOSfags and gaslighting streamers, and of course they're going to mock any streamerfag clearly not having a good time with the game live.

The reason the TTk doesn’t work is because of distance in the map, enemy health and Destiny/Halo game kinetics (move speed, aiming, etc.).

The average time to take out a player should be about 2 seconds. Not literally 2 seconds, but 2 seconds on average to account for missed shots, movement, headshots, gun effectiveness, etc.

If Bungie want to keep the TTK, they need to teach players about hyper awareness when engaging AI and whatnot. The problem is that majority of players don’t think like this, ironically, from watching streamers who push people in partner lobbies.

Indoor PvP interactions in the game are scary. Players, myself included, actively try to flank up from different angles. It reminds me of R6 and those modern Warfare missions.

Triage being so busted is annoying and while I still think Thief will be the better play Vandal and Destroyer with upgrades and cores kinda make them a little more tricky to deal with but forgoing any sort of intel scan shit is gonna be a bit sketch
