>>559149854The thing about big expansions is that they are that: big. Stardew valley is already a lot to do and the more you add, the more tedious and watered down it becomes. Take SVE. It basically doubles the size of the map, Cindersap Forest alone takes nearly a day to explore with a speed buff. But you won't explore it every day, mostly you'll try walking from point A to B and reaiize the distance has been doubled for no motive at all. That's not too much a problem, but it adds overtime. Another big expansion, Ridgeside. Do you like trannies hanging with small children? Mountain cinco de mayo mexicans? Lesbians, dozen a dime? Safe cardboard cutouts trying to emulate the base game villagers? That's what you're getting with Ridgeside. East Scarp is only salvageable because of Lavril. Red Panda district is a walking simulator last I played it.Most big expansion mods are just bloat that mess with the great balance SV hasIf you're really deadset on playing a massive expansion, then play SVE + ES for Lavril. A personal recommendation would be the Zenith Farm, one of the best custom farms out there.
