IMO BFGL is better during heated situation i.e. flag missions, sometimes probes or particularly heated extract defenses and drops etc. In these cases it feels like whenever you stop shooting the tide gets closer, so BFGL benefits from being able to lay constant pressure and having a full backpack whenever you eat a brick. It's also fairly safe to use at short range and you are less punished for missing cuz more ammo. Also smaller push force so it doesn't needlessly spread out enemies as much.But really I just hate reloading
