Theres basically only a single enemy type in Marathon that isn't a turret or a spider and they're just bullet sponges that aren't fun to fight and the "bosses" are just the same robot enemy but with more hp which is boring.

I'm crouching and walking while in doors and around a buildings location and swapping to knife to travel distances between locations but outside that I don't know how to really improve.Everyone recommends the Volt Thrower but I must not be using it right because I could get the beat on another player, have them be fully turned from me, lock on with the Thrower go in on them, have them turn and killing me outright instantly; while both of us are at full green shields (in this example)I don't know how to clutch or how to do anything - it doesn't bother me but I get so upset going in on teams of three and just basically the reason they lose seven or eight out of ten times in a confrontation.
