I haven't seen a single blue shield in 20+ hours of play. I just play white kits until I have greens, play with those, and never really see any better gear. I'm playing solo so obviously the trio content like the pinwheel or whatever is not possible but the drought of gear feels absurdly overturned.

What a thrill. Dropped in with a free loadout, somehow found a longshot, then killed a guy with blue shields and a self-revive (first time I’ve even seen blue shields at all). After that I decided to try Parasitisim 1/5, the one where you have to kill ghosts and bring the data bank to Pinwheel.Spent like 10 minutes collecting cards just to realize the destroyed wing was breached, and in the last three minutes I was running around the base trying to find the server and dump the data bank to DCON. Somehow made it to the final exfil with seconds left.Kinda sad though, they clearly nerfed spawn rates and still don’t let people spawn after the initial timer anymore. The base was breached but literally no one was there, not even UESC. I unlocked one room with spare cards and grabbed what I could, but it’s still weird no one contested me for like five minutes. My plan B exfil in the destroyer wing was hijacked though, so I guess there were at least some rats somewhere

Finally finished that one quest that requires you to activate a terminal, call in a bunch of bots, and grab a shipping manifest to unlock Traxus. Went through all my ammo trying to kill the commander because I didn't have any good tools to take out the dam shield. I was told Vandal's fully charged cannon could drop it but all it did was push the guy back, although it did deal some damage since it was what killed him. It took like 4 heavy knife strikes to the back and 2 full stacks of ammo in 2 primary weapons and all my meds but I did it! Man I wish i had frends who would play this with me but they're all either playing arc raiders or saying the game looks like 'AI slop"
