I've never understood why this game prioritizes stats so much, and it doesn't make sense to me because its counter intuitive to how people actually play and what they did to impact the match. This is the most annoyingly good Spider-Man player I've played against, I'd argue he's one of the best of all my hours playing and he's an OTP. I posted about it yesterday but I've been keeping tabs on a few players in this rank for the sake of knowing when to ban their characters and funny enough, the only time he loses is when the enemy team Ban his main. He doesn't hide profile so all the tryhards see that he's a complete monster on Spider-Man so they immediately ban it to cripple him but he doesn't even hide his profile so I genuinely cannot tell if he doesn't care or if its some challenge that he's doing.Can anyone make sense of this? Why doesn't Competitive above Diamond have a feature where it pauses the entire lobby for player disconnects and crashes? That seems like a totally necessary feature in a game like this. I'm pretty certain that every Call of Duty had this because I distinctly remember seeing a pause screen pop up in World at War and Modern Warfare II whenever a player would lose connection, for fuck sakes even the casual shooters had this feature.I had an Invisible Woman on his Eternity rank up game lose connection for 20-30 seconds and the enemy team almost won the match because they snagged second round from that alone. We won but it felt like a win that should have been decidedly over by round 2.
