Genuine critique, what do you think?I'm playing for the first time and I tried playing on Tactician but I struggled hard and the main reason, I believe, for that is the combat design. The game feels like it's designed to be cheesed. I can't walk in to a scenario blind and win. A lot of fights are lost before they begin. Even on medium. The game wants you to know before hand what's coming up, who you're fighting, where they're spawning and then you abuse the spawns by placing barrels, buffing yourself before a fight and placing your party in good spots. The correct strategy is not encountering an enemy and then analyzing them, the strategy is you die to an encounter and then you analyze how you can set up a win before the enemy even plays. I don't like this. It makes the game feel cheap. Cheese can be fun but you should never be expected to know before hand what's coming up in order to succeed. Divinity had the same problem where the main tactic was cheese instead of real strategy. Superior tactical games like XCOM and Fire Emblem can be done on your first playthrough on Iron Man if you want to. I'm not confident you could do the same in Larian games
