Alright pretty sure I'm close to finishing the game. There's a surprising lack of sidequests. Not that it matters since doing the main quest and companion quests alone will get you to max level. Still a bit iffy on combat and eventually you NEED a tank that can taunt in your party otherwise enemies will overwhelm and rape you.

Alright I beat the game. Everything from the halfway point very rushed, also the game is still pretty buggy. Not sure it's ever going to even get fixed since the game's publisher is done for. Final boss was piss easy, the hardest bosses in the game were always the mobs of soldiers and one super strong guy because they would just overwhelm you. As for the ending you send you send whoever isn't on your team to deal with some other shit in ME2 fashion. One of them died and another party member who was with me got a bad ending. I found it odd that for a direct prequel there was barely any connection to the first game aside from a few names. Solid 5/10 if you've got nothing else to play.

You're gambling for which weapon type is most common/powerful. And usually the right answer is longsword anyway so why bother with anything else? Just makes it so other weapons will never be used at all.I'm not usually a fan of streamlining, but Skyrim's choice of only having one-handed and two-handed as melee weapon skills is an unironic improvement because it actually lets you mix up your weapon choices instead of just running with the same weapon throughout the game.
