This is a tough choice. On the one hand, his S2 is very niche and can only be used on certain maps. But, when it is useful, it is very useful, and it benefits a ton from masteries. But, on the other hand, 90% of the time he'll be using S1. Problem is, that S1 is bottom of the barrel trash and doesn't even really benefit from masteries. It's basically an attack interrupt heal that clears more than normal elememe damage. It is technically more regular healing throughput if you time it right... but god is it tedious to use. It also doesn't meaningfully benefit from masteries at all -- yes the cost goes from 14 to 10, but you only use it rarely anyways because of how tedious it is to use.I honestly think I'm going to master his S2 so I am encouraged to seek out map layouts to take advantage of it. The S1 just feels... incredibly bad to use.

That's why the Victoria arc went from being about Victoria and its struggles to becoming Sarkazwank and so many things got left on the cutting room floor.If I'm right, things should be better from here on out, because now the direction's been set and they shouldn't need to change course in the third arc like they did with the second. Or I could be completely off base and HG writes by smearing toilet paper on their ass and interpreting the brown marks on it for their next story chapter, who knows.
